Most of these are actually from Kansas which took me about two days to drive through and was one of the weirder places I've been. Giant open fields, lots of abandoned buildings and towns that look western movie sets.
These last two are from a tourist attraction, that from the road just said point of interest ahead. I pulled off out of curiosity and after going down several dirt roads I saw the "See 6 States" sign with a rickety tower off to one side and lots and lots and lots of junk out front. It was a dollar to go up the tower and check out the "museum" or piles of junk. Also the guy running the place was a funny old guy who kept asking all the visitors to guess what the different antiques were. But now more than half way there and looking forward to getting to see the Southwest which I've always wanted to see.
